Hello everyone,
My name is Jim McCarthy. I am the author of the Strategy Manuscript. I want to personally welcome you all to my blog. This is very exciting for me. I am such a believer in the power of a great strategy. A business without strategy is dependent upon luck or genius to be successful, whereas a business with a great strategy is making their own luck, and demonstrating their own genius.
I am a Certified Professional Consultant, with five university degrees, eight professional certifications, and have over 25 years working as an internal and external consultant. I have worked with some of the biggest companies in the world, such as Pfizer, Hughes Aerospace, and Advanced Micro Devices, and with some of the smallest, such as JPB Law firm and JR Associates. I can unequivocally state that the one thing that separates these enormously successful companies from the rest of their “world” is a great strategy.
I look forward to talking with you in the days and weeks to come about the power of strategy to transform your business. If you have had a chance to read my Strategy Manuscript, you also know that I will soon be launching the Prometheus Strategic Planning System.
This is the process that has been used to win wars, (it was used to plan and execute the air campaign for the first Gulf War, one of the most successful campaigns in military history), assist in raising American competitiveness around the world, help win the Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award (a very hard thing to do) and create jaw-dropping business results for multi-national corporations, as well as numerous small and medium sized companies. Executives such as Mike Roberts, West Division President, McDonald’s Corporation, and Paula Marshall, CEO of the Bama Companies have used and profited by this process.
The process, or the results of it, have been endorsed by the former Secretary of State Colin Powell, General Norman Schwarzkopf, James M. Kouzes, (author of “The Leadership Challenge”, Futurists Alvin and Heidi Toffler, and a host of other very recognizable business and academic names.
The Prometheus System launch will not only give you access to this incredible product, but you will also get brand new interviews with Marc Harty, Jeff Dedrick, David Bullock, Liz Tomey, Lisa Diane, Jeff Paul, and Jeff Walker, as well as a very special interview with Colonel John Warden, the creator of the Prometheus System, and who has been described as a “national treasure”, and “one of the “greatest strategic thinkers of the 20th century”.
Walter Schindler, Chairman and CEO, Odyssey Strategic Partners, a $1.2 Billion dollar equity fund, in an introduction to the book “Winning in Fast Time” by John Warden and Leland Russell said “Prometheus is the most powerful intellectual capital we have discovered for the rapid creation of breakthrough corporate strategy by clients of all sizes, ranging from the Fortune 100 to the fast-emerging leaders of the New Economy. Because it is a dynamic catalyst of value creation, we expose all of the companies in which we invest to the Prometheus Process.”
Enjoy the Strategy Manuscript and let me know your thoughts. I hope to have a vigorous discussion about the power of strategy. Again, welcome to my blog, and please feel free to post anytime.
Take Care,
Jim McCarthy

07|Aug|2008 3Hi Jim,
I am a Jordanian and highly qualified consulting engineer, I used to have a consulting office two decades ago, but I failed, simply because I did not have any idea about business planning or strategy, or, how to run and stay in business.
I am very interested in receiving and reading your PrometheusStrategy.

07|Aug|2008 5Hi Jim,
Congratulations on another groundbreaking adventure.
It truly does not matter if you are the head of ’some’ billion dollar international corporation, a successful homebased entrepreneur or perhaps you only have just begun to dream of how you will get more of what you want in life.
By analyzing your plan and carefully strategizing your plan you can truly make life a lot easier.
Being a part of Prometheuss is my honor and I thank you for bringing it to us Jim.
Here’s to your success,
Xavier

I don’t understand… how come this is just the secpond comment on y0ur system and you have been promoting it since February 2008?? What confidence does that give me??
And a strategy that has America still in Iraq hardley fills me with confidence.

11|Aug|2008 10Thank you all for your thoughtful comments!
John,
Please go to http://www.prometheusstrategy.com There you will be able to access the manual, plus all of the pre-launch content I have created. In the interests of full disclosure, you will have to leave you name and email address.
In return, you will have access to not only the manuscript, but 5 videos and another manuscript that I have created as part of my pre-launch strategy for my August 18 launch and that will be released this week.
Joe,
I have been “heads down” creating the product set for my launch. The blog will be quite active from here on in. Thank you for your comment on the Iraq situation. As it happens, the present Iraq War was not planned using Prometheus due to bureaucratic infighting between the various branches of the armed forces, and political decisions by the current US administration.
In the end, it ends up highlighting quite a stark contrast between a well-planned and executed strategy and one that is not.
Take Care all. I look forward to continuing our discussion.
Jim
